Usage Policy
Effective from May 1, 2023
1. Introduction
This Usage Policy (the "Policy") establishes conditions for using cloud services provided on the ihos.cloud platform (the "Services"). The purpose of this Policy is to ensure a safe, stable, and efficient environment for all users.
This Policy is an integral part of the Terms of Service. By using the Services, you express agreement with this Policy and undertake to comply with it.
2. Permitted Use
You may use the Services for the following purposes:
- Hosting websites and applications
- Software development and testing
- Operating databases and data storage
- Operating your own servers and services
- Educational and research purposes
- Personal and commercial projects in accordance with legal regulations
3. Prohibited Use
It is strictly prohibited to use the Services for the following purposes:
- Any illegal activities or violation of legal regulations
- Distribution of malware, viruses, or other malicious code
- Phishing, spamming, or other fraudulent activities
- Unauthorized access to systems or data
- DDoS attacks or other activities disrupting network stability
- Cryptocurrency mining without prior consent
- Distribution of pornographic, violent, or otherwise inappropriate content
- Violation of copyright or other intellectual property rights
- Operating services that excessively burden infrastructure
4. Resource Limitations
Each Service plan has established limits for computing resource usage:
- CPU: Maximum usage of allocated processor cores
- RAM: Maximum usage of allocated memory
- Disk: Maximum usage of allocated disk space
- Data transfer: Maximum volume of data transferred per month*
- IOPS: Maximum number of input-output operations per second
Exceeding these limits may result in temporary restriction or suspension of Services. In case of repeated limit violations, we recommend upgrading to a higher plan.
* Fair usage policy applies. Unlimited bandwidth is subject to reasonable use and may be limited in case of abuse.
5. Security
As a user, you are responsible for the security of your Services and data:
- Keep all systems and applications updated
- Use strong passwords and change them regularly
- Limit access to your services to necessary persons only
- Regularly backup your data (if backup is not part of the service)
- Monitor your services for unusual activity detection
- Report any security incidents immediately
6. Monitoring and Audits
We reserve the right to monitor Service usage to ensure compliance with this Policy and protect our infrastructure. This monitoring includes:
- Monitoring system resource usage (CPU, RAM, disk, network)
- Logging access and activities
- Checking compliance with security standards
- Detection of potentially harmful activities
We respect your privacy and do not monitor the content of your data unless it is absolutely necessary for security reasons or based on legal requirements.
7. Data Backup and Recovery
Depending on the chosen plan, automatic backup may be part of the Services:
- Daily backups retained for 7 days
- Weekly backups retained for 4 weeks
- Monthly backups retained for 3 months (higher plans only)
Even if backup is part of the service, we recommend performing your own backups of critical data. We are not responsible for data loss if backup is not part of your plan.
8. Service Availability
We strive to ensure high Service availability:
- Standard plans: Target availability 99.9%
- Business plans: Target availability 99.95%
- Enterprise plans: Target availability 99.99%
Planned maintenance is usually performed during night hours and is announced at least 48 hours in advance. Unplanned outages are resolved with the highest priority.
9. Technical Support
We provide technical support in the following scope:

- Response time: usually within 24 hours on business days
- Priority support for business and enterprise plans
Technical support includes assistance with infrastructure and platform, not with your own code or applications, unless otherwise agreed.
10. Policy Violations and Sanctions
In case of violation of this Policy, we may take the following measures:
- Warning and request for correction
- Temporary restriction or suspension of Services
- Permanent termination of Service provision
- In serious cases, seeking damages
Measures will be proportionate to the severity of the violation and any previous violations.
11. Policy Changes
We reserve the right to change this Policy at any time. You will be informed of significant changes via email or notification on our website. By continuing to use the Services after notification of changes, you express agreement with the updated Policy.
